Once upon a time a river called Kali Nadi used to float beside a village named Chheuria in Kushtia district which is 250 km far from Dhaka. In the year 1790 an Islamic scholar of the same village Malam shah found a dying teenager on the bank of Kali Nadi, the boy was suffering from pox. Malam shah took him in his shelter, the teenager survived.
